A prominent Manhattan decorator chose this former hotel to carve out his new apartment and house his chic mix of period antiques, modern art, and eclectic treasures. This required an accomplished reworking to incorporate within an elegant framework both the luxuries and practicalities that provide an oasis to a fast paced life.
Rooms and elevations were aligned to respect axial points, doors raised, and proportionate moldings installed to give the apartment a new spaciousness and order. Featured in Elle Decor "What's Hot Now!" issue. Interior decoration by Todd Alexander Romano.
